This is to announce an exciting opportunity for you to apply for. We are seeking to fill the role of a  ?CfAD public and academic engagement champion?, who would help us raise the profile of CfAD to other academics, prospective students, participants, patients and their families. The role is envisaged to entail driving forward an update of our website, and to develop a social media communications strategy for our research, as well as develop ways to create and sustain a CfAD advisory group of people with lived experience of affective disorders. In addition we would like the champion to liaise with Viktoriya Nikolova to coordinate how CfAD research will be featured in our upcoming ISAD/CfAD symposium in November.

The candidate would be paid via King?s Talent bank on an hourly basis with an estimate of a workload of 2-4 h per week to be discussed over a period of the next 6-12 months.

This initiative is funded by a charitable donation to CfAD and we are accountable to use the money well and responsibly. As we are unable to pay those of you on full-time contracts, the role is only suitable for part-time research staff or for PhD students who are not employed by King?s other than as GTAs.

We are looking forward to your applications by sending us your CV and outline in an email briefly what you would bring to this role in terms of ideas and experience, as well as how it would fit with your career development.
