The School of the Built Environment and Architecture are looking for a Intern to work on the below Research Project starting asap until the 22nd of July 2024.
The project is 95 hours of work to be completed between the start date in February 2024 and the 22nd of July 2024. You must not complete more than 20 hours in one week.
The salary for the role is £13.31 per hour.
- To undertake research on economic feasibility of methanol generators such as government policies, tax import taxes and rebates, available resources, suppliers, prices, transportation, storage capacity, market size.
- To engage/consult effectively with team members to ensure project is delivered timely, and effectively communicate changes or highlight problems in a timely fashion.
- To produce high quality project outputs, including a database of green methanol/generator and a technical report on green methanol/generator.
Qualifications
- A background in energy engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related engineering discipline
Skills
- A background in energy engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related engineering discipline
- Have experience and knowledge in zero carbon technology
- Strongly motivated to undertake market research in green methanol generator
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written/literacy, numeracy and presentation skills)
- Ability to use IT (Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel, MS Office, Outlook, Teams)
