Event ambassador for the King's India Institute's 2024 Nehru Memorial Lecture on 20 March 2024 from 16:30-18:30 GMT.

- On the day of the event, helping at the registration desk to check-in attendees

- Helping with roving mics for the Q&A session

Event assistant for an SSPP event on 25 June (Tuesday) in The Exchange, Strand campus. Shift timings are 5-8pm BST.



Duties include checking in guests, helping with the roving mic. 



Event details: 'General Election 2024: Manifestos Under The Microscope'.  



In this event on 25 June polling expert Sophie Stowers (King's Policy Institute) will moderate an expert discussion on the proposed policies in their published manifestos. The panel will seek to answer whether what the parties are proposing is feasible, affordable, or evidence-based. The event will cut through some of the noise of the campaign to provide insights into key policy areas including security, the environment, immigration and the economy.

Students who have not completed the Right to work check will not be considered.

Preference to SSPP students. Prior event experience is desirable but not essential. 

The KCLWP Pre-16 Team are looking for a group of ambassadors to support at our annual Family Day on Saturday 13th July 2024. The shift time will run from 08:45am-3:30pm. Family day will take place on the Stand Campus.



If you are selected for this shift, there is a compulsory PAID briefing on Friday 12th July from 2:00pm-3:30pm on the Strand Campus. Please do not apply for this shift unless you can attend this complusory PAID breifing. 



We will be expecting around 200 guests for a fun and informative day filled with academic skills sessions, subject workshops, parent talks, free lunch etc.



Ambassadors will be supporting with:




  • - Registering guests on arrival

  • - Directing guests to the right rooms

  • - Supporting with the pupil sessions/workshops

  • - Leading campus tours

  • - Sharing your experience as a student at King's

  • - Setting up and packing down the event and more...

  • Any confident medic ambassors will also be potential used to lead clinical skills workshops.



This will be a fun shift where you will get to work with many of our Scholars and their families. Lunch will be provided for you on the day.



If you are selceted for this shift, you will be sent a Microscoft form to fill out with some additional details.



Please do not apply for this shift if you are unavailable to attend the compulsory PAID briefing on Friday 12th July from 2:00pm-3:30pm on the Strand. Campus.

We require an Events Assistant for an event by the King's India Institute on 6 June for a 3-hour shift.



Event assistant for '2024 and beyond: The implications of India's election results'. The assignment is for 4:30-7.30pm on Thursday, June 6



The role involves helping with the event setup, checking in guests at the front desk in the Strand building from 5.20pm onwards and helping with the roving mic during the Q&A.



The lecture venue is Edmond J Safra Lecture Theatre, Strand Campus.
