Disability Support Worker

Job Description

To provide practical assistance to disabled students 



This may include guiding visual impaired students and / or assisting them to access library reading materials. It may also include joining lecture sessions and taking notes. We may also need scribes to write exams scripts dictated by disabled students.

Other aspects: 



Some roles may be carried out remotely via online communications. You will be expected to be willing to use your own computer equipment for such work.  



Other roles may involve direct human contact (such as guiding visually impaired students around campus). 



We are recruiting a pool of workers and so you will have the choice to accept a job offered or turn down any job offers if not suitable for you.

Are you a 2nd year international undergraduate student? Did you attend International Orientation back in September 2022? 



King’s is running focus group to gain insight from undergraduate students who may have attended International Orientation back in the past to see how this event prepared you for your time at King’s + how we can improve this event in the future. 



This focus group will run online via MS TEAMS on Friday 8th March 11-12.30pm. You will be paid for your time.
