Job Description

Our prestigious client in West Yorkshire is seeking several Plater/Welders for its engineering operation.This organisation is second to none in the manufacture of Pressure Vessels in particular Stainless Steel rolled on site and put together in their workshop.



The applicant will be expected to be qualified in MIG and TIG welding and be able to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and work on your own initiative.



Overtime rates are applicable and the company works a four day week in general.Please apply ASAP in order to discuss the matter in more detail.

Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, the Digital Content Officer will support the Communications team in creating/updating the Research related content on the website.

 



Duties include liaising with relevant colleagues to collate content, editing and uploading copy and assets (such as photos, videos and publications) onto the CMS (Contensis), and managing the sign off process with key stakeholders.

Ideal role for a recent Grad with an understanding (personal and/or professional) of students searching for and applying for jobs. Initially a 6-7 month contract with the possibility of extension.



The Careers Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the in-house recruitment agency. This includes guidance for students how to complete registration,  compliance checks, scheduling interviews, and carrying out reporting tasks. In addition to managing the shared inbox there will also be administration involved with student correspondence, marketing and database management.



• Manage shared inboxes and provide appropriate and accurate information to a range of stakeholders such as students, staff, businesses/external organisations or signpost where relevant.



• Manage team and shared diaries



• Be the first point of contact for students and external candidates.



• Administer the registration of new candidates including ensuring they are legally compliant and have the right-to-work in the UK and monitor timesheets where necessary.



• Schedule interviews with participants in a timely manner and communicate outcome of applications to students. 



 



Qualifications

Ideally a degree holder



Good level of general education



Skills

Office administrative tasks and MS packages



Knowledge of Client Relationship Management sytems (CRM) or simiar database



Experience of a recruitment related role - Ideal



Multi-tasking and time management skills



Excellent communication skills



Demonstrable skills in diplomacy and resilience



 



 

We can only consider candidates who can begin work on the week commencing the 12th of august. 



Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an assesment day onsite on the week commencing the 22nd of July.

  • Support admissions officers on ad-hoc tasks

  • Proficiency in using computer database and software applications relevant to the role.
