Job Description
We are seeking a current 3rd year UG or Master?s students to work on the analysis of survey data as part of a research project, funded by the King?s Strategic College Teaching Fund looking at embedding intercultural competence (ICC) into King?s Foundation (KIF).
The project aims to appoint 3 (three) candidates to undertake around 8 hours each of desk research and interviews (max 2 hours per research assistant), starting in April and completing in May 2025.
This project wants to explore a bottom-up approach to curriculum design at KIF by engaging students into the decision-making process, empowering their voices and thus increasing a sense of belonging, and eventually to provide an opportunity for them to actively shape their education, through a Learning Needs Analysis (LNA). The LNA has additionally the potential to reveal alternative ways of embedding Intercultural Competence into the KIF curriculum than the proposed one (e.g. as a separate non-credit bearing module), to explore student?s preferred way of assessment, duration, etc.
The successful candidate will be tasked with using quantitative analysis to analyse the results of an online survey and focus group interviews and provide a summary of the findings to the project lead, which will be incorporated into a larger report on the project?s findings.

Reporting Structure:
