Job Description
This new project 'Preventing Public Value Destruction through Common Standards in Co-production and Community Engagement in the Public Sector' aims to scale up, at national level, the existing work-stream on Social Integration and Regeneration at LondonMet, by building the partnership structure and knowledge base of a collaborative bid to the Nuffield Foundation (submission in March / September 2023).
In order to support this project we will need a research assistant to help with conducting a systematic review of literature. You will be supported by the project lead, Prof. Diana Stirbu together with the core research team.
This is a great opportunity for a graduate student or PGR student who want to further develop skills around academic research and writing, with a particular emphasis on conducting literature reviews.
Qualificationsgraduate or postgraduate student
a social science background is much desirable for this.
SkillsYou will need to have a good knowledge of conducting literature reviews in a systematic manner
You will need. a good ability to identify appropriate sources
Good theoretical and practical anchoring of the main working concepts
You will need to enjoy writing and have good writing skills
You need to be a confident user of any one of the academic referencing tools (Zotero, Mandalay etc)
