Job Description

Our prestigious client is a world leader in manufacturing and producing building products across several countries.The UK division in Nottingham is seeking a Projects Engineer to help with the build and installation of a Mixing Tower.



The applicant will ideally have experience working on similar projects indicative of chemical processes or large industrial projects.



The applicant will be expected to cover the following: Mechanical Engineering Masters Graduate with a projects background, or with 1+ years in a process



engineering role

What will I be doing in the role?



The purpose of this role is to work within team to deliver a major capital project on time and on budget to



internal procedures and working practices



? Work on assigned work packages



? Understanding Project details & expectations including timeline and key dates



? Assessment and understanding of general engineering drawings & process diagrams (P&ID)



? Sense checking information - interfaces, detection of clashes, requirements for provisions, accessibility for



maintenance and interoperability etc



? Construction of tender specifications and associated documents



? Understanding and using standard internal document systems



? Liaise with external suppliers and contractors as required



? Attending project meetings



? Reporting to project manager

Responsibilities 



As a building services engineer, you'll need to: 



• negotiate and develop project contracts and agree these with clients, if working in  consultancy and putting out tenders 



• commission, organise and assess the work of contractors 



• work with detailed diagrams, plans and drawings 



• use specialist computer-aided design (CAD) software and other resources to  design the systems required for the project 



• use and develop Building Information Modelling (BIM) to ensure systems are  coordinated in a complex construction or refurbishment project 



• manage and forecast spend, using whole life cycle costing techniques, ensuring  that work is carried out within budget and energy-efficient systems are  implemented 



• design site-specific equipment as required 



• oversee and supervise the installation of building systems and specify  maintenance and operating procedures 



• monitor building systems and processes 



• liaise closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, builders,  architects and surveyors and in-house project teams 



• attend a range of project group and technical meetings 



• ensure that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative  and health and safety requirements 



• work on a variety of projects within a short period of time.

Our Client is looking for a Warehouse operative to work in their Eggbrough wareehouse in Doncaster. 



You will be required to complete the following tasks on a regular basis. 



This is a Monday to Friday role and hours are 08.00am to 4.00pm 



To perform warehouse related duties in accordance with the agreed company standards to ensure the safe, effective and efficient storage and loading of all our products to enable the highest standard of service to our customers




  • A sound working knowledge of warehousing and materials handling




  • To be able to work in a team with minimum supervision



·To demonstrate a strong awareness and respect for health, safety and environment




  • Previous experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment




  • Must be a fully certified forklift driver with previous FLT working experience




  • Be numerate and literate with high attention to detail, basic IT skills, and be able to communicate effectively




  • Be confident in the use of systems required to complete your role




  • Ability to judge distances and heights and be able to work in varying seasonal temperatures.
