Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences.

The Undergraduate Department at FoDOCS is recruiting PhD students with (expertise / interest) in Health Psychology and Communication to work as Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) and contribute to the Year3 Foundations in Management tutorials as part of our Professionalism Ethics Management and Leadership Unit teaching within the Dentistry in Society Module.
Ideally we are looking to recruit PhD in School of Business, but we will look at other applications from Health Faculties (FoDCS, FoLSM, Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care) with relevant experience.
GTA role
PURPOSE
· To deliver tutorials: 14 sessions, 1 hours each session, on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, starting w/c 06/02/23 ending on 17/02/23
This tutorial aims to provide practical experience:
- discussing management considerations of a dental practice
- identifying and assessing different leadership styles, as related to strategic change.
QualificationsEssential qualifications: 1. A first degree in a relevant subject area (or have equivalent experience). 2. Currently studying towards a PhD in a relevant subject area (or have equivalent experience) How identified and assessed - application
