Job Description
QFT is recruiting for casual FoH staff to assist with day-time and evening front of house operations at the QFT - to include public screenings and private hires. To undertake general Box Office, Bar and Usher duties and provide efficient and courteous customer service.
1. Selling tickets to the public through a computerised box office system, whilst adhering to all protocols and procedures.
2. Serving customers in the bar, maintaining a tidy and well stocked bar and assisting with stock controls as directed.
3. Maintaining the cleanliness of the venue and its immediate vicinity and ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
4. Dealing with customer enquiries efficiently and courteously and, if unable to answer, to refer them to more senior staff.
5. To check film screenings for visual and sound flaws, reporting these promptly to the Front-of-House Manager.
6. Any others tasks as required
Please note this is a casual position with hours available depending on the business needs. There is no guaranteed amount of hours per week.
Qualifications5 GCSE'S including Math and English at Grace C or above (or equivalent).
SkillsA minimum of six months experience in providing a high standard of customer care in an entertainment, leisure or retail setting.
A minimum of six months experience of serving customers through a computerised PoS.
Have knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, film/cinema.
Must be able to work flexible hours and be prepared to work in the evenings and at the weekends. The number of shifts worked will vary from week to week.
Must be over 18 years of age due to licensing.
